Hair Restoration (PRP)

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) therapy for hair loss is a safe, minimally invasive treatment that uses components from your own blood to stimulate natural hair growth. PRP is rich in powerful growth factors, while PDGF — one of the key regenerative signaling proteins — plays a critical role in cellular repair, tissue regeneration, and follicle stimulation. When carefully prepared and injected into the scalp, these concentrated growth factors help awaken dormant hair follicles and support the production of thicker, stronger hair over time.

This treatment is especially effective for androgenetic alopecia — commonly known as pattern hair loss — which affects approximately 50% of individuals by age 50. In men, thinning commonly occurs at the crown (vertex) and temples, while in women it is often more diffuse and affects the anterior or top of the scalp. By delivering PRP enhanced with PDGF directly to the follicle level, we can help slow shedding, improve hair density, strengthen existing strands, and encourage new growth — all without surgery or harsh medications.

HOW IT WORKS

The process begins with drawing a small amount of your blood, which is then placed into a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets within the plasma. This concentrated solution contains powerful growth factors — including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) — that play a critical role in cellular repair, tissue regeneration, and follicle stimulation. PDGF is one of the key signaling proteins responsible for activating dormant cells, increasing blood supply to the area, and supporting the regeneration process that encourages healthier, thicker hair growth.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For optimal results, we recommend a series of three treatments spaced approximately six weeks apart (totaling about 18 weeks). This schedule allows the hair follicles to be stimulated across multiple growth cycles, giving PRP and its concentrated growth factors — including PDGF — repeated opportunities to activate dormant follicles and strengthen existing ones. Consistent stimulation enhances cellular signaling, blood supply, and regenerative activity within the scalp, maximizing the potential for thicker, healthier regrowth.

Timeline: Many patients begin noticing reduced shedding, improved hair texture, and early signs of new growth within three to six months of their first treatment, with continued improvement as regeneration progresses.
Downtime: Minimal — most clients return to normal daily activities immediately after their session.
Maintenance: To preserve density and support ongoing follicle health, maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 6–12 months.

PRP hair restoration enhanced by the regenerative benefits of PDGF offers a natural, science-backed approach to improving hair density by leveraging your body’s own healing capabilities — helping you achieve fuller, stronger hair without surgery or harsh chemicals.
